Ryan Seaplanes is owned and operated by Tripp Wacker, DPE. While we primarily focus on our own internal students, we do offer checkride availability to outside students. A summary of all of the checkrides that we are authorized to conduct can be found in the table below.

Please note that all checkrides are done on-site at our offices, located at the Flagler Executive Airport (KFIN). Tie-downs, fuel, and FBO services are available at the airport, as well as hotels nearby if you so choose to stay overnight.

For applicants and instructors intending to send a student, please review the applicant’s logbook for the necessary endorsements (see AC61-65), the required prerequisites (See 14CFR.61), and ensure the aircraft’s documents and inspections are in order. A useful and helpful pre-checkride checklist can be found in the applicable versions of the Airmen Certification Standards (ACS).
