Why Our Students Love Our Location
Our location, just west of Flagler Beach on the northeast coast of Florida, is beautiful year-round. Many of our seaplane pilot students choose to bring their families with them, turning their seaplane rating into a vacation for everyone.
There are dozens of state and local parks nearby, featuring uncrowded beaches, lush vegetation, and, further inland, many natural springs for swimming and the occasional manatee encounter.
In less than 90 minutes, you can drive to any of the Orlando theme parks, including Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, as well as SeaWorld, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, and others. You may also travel down the coast to visit the Kennedy Space Center or any number of beautiful beach towns on the northeast coast of Florida.
Air Travel
We are located at Flagler Executive Airport (KFIN), 19 nm north of Daytona Beach International Airport. If arriving by private airplane, there are tie-downs, fuel, rental cars, and a restaurant located at the airport.
If you will be traveling by commercial airline, the closest airports are KDAB Daytona Beach (a 20-minute drive), KJAX Jacksonville, FL (a 70-minute drive), and KMCO Orlando, FL (a 75-minute drive). We have provided a Google map below for your convenience, with directions to our facility.
